Stage 0-2 Briefing and Concept

At these early stage we get to understand what our client’s needs are, and agree your project brief and aspirational outcomes.

Using the established brief and project direction we will be able to create outline proposal and concept design options.

Stage 3 Spatial Coordination

At this stage we’ll advance an agreed concept design. Transforming the ideas into a more detailed and robust drawing package that can be submitted for planning.

Stage 4 Technical Design

The technical design stage involves progressing the approved scheme and adding details that can be used for a Building Regulation Submission.

We can then further develop designs, such as kitchen and bathrooms layouts, and produce specifications, which can then be used to invite and appraise tenders from builders on your behalf.

Stage 5 Construction

Throughout the construction phase HB Architects will administer your contract with the builder, carry out regular inspections, deal with queries, instruct any additional work, monitor progress on site, value the works and certify payments to the builder.

Stage 6 Handover

When the project is ready to handover, we will inspect the works to ensure everything is completed to an acceptable standard.

HB Architects will be available after handover and during any defects period to arrange for certifying the final payment.
